How much time does it take to get Username and Password to log into my account after I pay the fee?

You can login immediately after the successful payment. Please, make sure you click “ return to the website “ link in the payment page (so that your account get activated automatically). If not, you have to wait for minimum 1 hour to get your account activated manually by our tech support team.


What is the duration of this online training?

There are three subscription plans: 1 month ($25), 2 months ($35), 3 months ($45).

 


How much do I need to pay to rejoin the training?

Applies more on the subscription plans you have chosen earlier for the training.

What is the test format?

The test has four sections – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Candidates must sit all four modules to receive the test result.

 


What is the total duration of the IELTS Test?

It is 2 hours 45 minutes, approximately.

Listening  : 30 minutes
Reading    : one hour
Writing     : one hour
Speaking  : 15 minutes

 


What is General Training module?

The General Training module is designed to test basic survival skills in a broad social and educational context. General Training is suitable for candidates who plan to complete their secondary education in an English-speaking country, undertake work experience or training programs, or for immigration requirements to Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

 


What is Academic module?

The Academic module assesses whether a candidate is ready to study or trained in English at an undergraduate or postgraduate level. Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on the results of these modules. Academic IELTS will also require for Board Registrations in many countries

 


How is the test administered?

Every aspect of the test is subjected to the highest quality controls, security procedures and integrity management practices. All test centers follow the same code of practice and IELTS protocols.  It is a paper based test.

 


How is the IELTS test marked?

IELTS uses a unique nine-point scoring system to measure and report test scores in a consistent manner. Candidates receive scores for each language skill (listening, reading, writing and speaking) and an overall band score on a band scale from one to nine.

 


When do candidates receive their test scores?

After 13 days of completion of the test, results are available to candidates online. A Test Report Form will be sent via postal mail to each candidate.

 


For how long is an IELTS test score valid?

IELTS scores are valid for two years.

 


How can someone verifies the test results of a candidate?

To ensure the security of test results, IELTS has created an exclusive online tool which enables organizations to authenticate Test Report Forms submitted by the candidates to them.

Yes! Around 900 American universities and institutions recognize IELTS, including seven of the eight ‘Ivy League’ universities, CGFNS and the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
